Andy is an excellent co-ordinator and administrator with the vision to enhance new initiatives and drive forward change in a motivated and enthusiastic manner. He is a natural but polite leader who possesses presence, coupled with a high degree of common sense. He has the ability to communicate at all levels and the aptitude to react to the unexpected.
Prior to setting up Lighthouse he was Warrant Officer and H&S Lecturer for the Royal Engineers
He delivered the Royal Engineers version of the Site Managers Safety Training Scheme course (SMSTS) throughout this period, whilst also conducting Chain of Command H&S lectures to many differing courses. Andy was instrumental in the development of a number of initiatives, and drafting policy changes, which had a direct effect and a positive improvement to H&S training and policy.
Andy is very passionate about drinking Guinness, however he is giving it up to cycle 100 miles in the London 100 cycle ride from Queen Elizabeth Park London, all round Surrey and back to The Mall, all for charity!
