New Guidance – Health and Safety In Ports

New guidance has been made available from the HSE which outlines to employers and other dutyholders, the management of health and safety, worker consultation and what to do if things go wrong when working within ports. Not only can employers utilise this guide but it is also relevant to others who work in ports. The guidance lists many hazards that are identified with working within ports including dusty cargoes, working near water and muskoskeletal disorders.  The easy to use guidance is available at http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/indg446.pdf
