A manic month resulted in a few subtle changes here at Lighthouse, with the addition of yet another member of staff; Rudi will be responsible for looking after some of our growing list of retained clients and their Health and Safety needs, for those of you that meet him in the near future please be gentle. Courses here in Rainham and in Basingstoke have been sold out in many cases, with our inaugural SMSTS course completing in London with good numbers.
We’d like to welcome, Elm Contractors, Medway Fabrications, Parmar Construction and GLC Maintenance as new retained clients, and hope that we can assist them as well as we do our other retained clients.
This month we’ve been as busy with courses as we are with our consultation services.
Courses this month have included 5 x 5-Day Drivers CPC, 4 x 5-Day SMSTS courses, 2 x 2-Day SMSTS Refreshers, 1 x 4-Day IOSH Managing Safely, 2 x 1-Day IOSH Directing Safely, 1 x 14-Day NEBOSH General Course, 1 x 1 -Day CDM Course for Designers, 2 x 2-Day SSSTS courses, 1 x 1/2 Day Abrasive Wheels course, 1 x 3-Day First Aid at Work (FAW), 1 x 1-Day Fire Warden course and we’ve started an 10-Day International CPC course for Transport Managers.
Consultation has included the normal mix of SSIP accreditations and Fire Risk Assessments, along with advice on Risk Assessments and Method Statements, COSHH Assessments and general safety advice.
