Life at Lighthouse

The last few months at Lighthouse have been action packed with courses, advice, policies, exams, birthdays and even a bungee jump!

Rick sat his NEBOSH construction certificate exam – lets see if he gets a distinction (the competition with the boys  in the office is rife).  Pam is currently sitting her PTLLS course, Harry has just passed his NEBOSH Environmental Certificate which means we can now begin offering Environmental Consultancy. We also have had Stephen start his path on tutoring by sitting the SMSTS and making copious amounts of notes. He should be stepping in on the December SMSTS to cover certain topics.

So as you can see Life at Lighthouse, in the office alone, has been manic.  We have of course, however continued to deliver training including 3 SMSTS’s, 3 SSSTS, a NEBOSH General, International CPC, a number of Driver CPC’s, Health & Safety Awareness, Asbestos training, Ladder Training, Permit to Work, DSE courses, Risk Assessments, CDM, Refresher courses and a partridge in a pear tree………

During our site visits we have managed to stop and safely control two dangerous activities including the dangerous use of a scissor lift and the uncovering of Asbestos whilst digging.

And not to forget the Christmas Tree should be going up soon.

Phew!
