A Russells Construction, development on Phoebe Street in Salford was severely damaged by fire in the early hours of Thursday 4th August 2011. The blaze which could be seen from miles away took more than 50 fire-fighters to bring under control. Watch the video here
The site which was about to be handed over to the clients comprised of a Morrisons supermarket and 79 new homes.
A Russells spokeswoman said that the Morrison store has not been damaged by the blaze but the apartments section had been.
