We, Lighthouse Safety are a NEBOSH Gold Learning Partner and offer a wide range of courses including the new General Certificate which will provide you with a broad understanding of health and safety issues, and prior health and safety knowledge is not a requirement.
New General Certificate
The NEBOSH National General Certificate training course is ideal for managers, supervisors and non-safety specialists with health and safety responsibilities. It is the most widely recognised foundation level health & safety qualification.
As we announced last year NEBOSH have launched a new syllabus to teach learners about health and safety in the modern workplace.
NEBOSHÂ have listened to what businesses said they needed for those responsible for health and safety within their organisation to do and know, and have streamlined that into new content that represents the role of a real-life health and safety professional.
They’ve also listened to their learners and have updated the language to make it easier for people to understand. In addition, the structure has also been modified so there’s now less emphasis on exams and a bigger focus on practical application. The new specification now spans only 2 units:
NG1 – Management of health and safety
NG2 – Risk assessment
Completing the certificate with us, you will be expertly prepared to succeed in the NEBOSH Certificate and boost your career. We provide our own guidance notes book for you to keep which includes the whole syllabus. We also create WhatsApp groups with our tutors and fellow learners on hand for any questions and comments you may have during and after the course.
