Drivers CPC Deadline 9 September 2014

The deadline for all drivers to have completed the Drivers CPC is 9 September 2014.

To help you along, Lighthouse can offer you Drivers CPC open courses or we can offer in house courses at times and dates to suit you.

The Driver CPC is a scheme for LGV and PSV drivers who drive professionally in the UK. It has been developed to meet the requirements of the EU Directive 2003/59, which is designed to improve the knowledge and skills of professional LGV and PSV drivers throughout their working life. All drivers, new and existing, will then have to undertake 35 hours of training every five years to ensure that their Driver CPC is current. This is known as Periodic Training.

Driver CPC is designed for all commercial drivers, holding a category C, C1, C+E or C1+E licence before 10 September 2009.  However if you gained your initial after this date you have five years to complete your periodic training.  For example:  If you gained the above licences on 11 September 2009 you will need to complete your Drivers CPC Periodic training before expiry on 11 September 2014.

We have a flexible approach to training so whatever you need, try us, we can help.
