During 2009 we have been working with the training department of Laing O’Rourke to assist in the delivery of a number of their internal bespoke courses. IOSH Managing Safely in Construction, Hazardous Substance Awareness, Risk Assessment and Method Statement training are just a small example of the training we have conducted on their behalf.
Maiford
Trading since 1973 Maiford Ltd has grown steadily over the years and today employs around 40 people offering a first class service to their many clients. They work on housing developments, in industrial and commercial premises in schools and for infrastructure projects and have long term relationships with many of our clients.
The premises at Larkfield in Kent is the centre of operations with a substantial storage building and workshop enabling them to meet their client’s more bespoke needs on time and in budget.
Mid Kent College Training Services Ltd
January 2009 saw service delivery at the Royal School of Military Engineering (RSME) pass to a Public Private Partnership (PPP) company Holdfast. Mid Kent College are one of the five Holdfast consortium members. In preparation for the service delivery responsibility commencing in Jan 2009, we won the contract to delivery Health and Safety Management Training across the RSME. Much of this training is integrated within Soldier Management Training Courses at differing levels, however in addition we are also responsible for the delivery of approx ten CITB ConstructionSkills SMSTS courses annually and for the provision of H&S Advice to the Professional Engineer Wing of the RSME.
Morrison Utility Services
Morrison Utility Services is a leading service provider within the electricity, gas, telecommunications and water sectors. Their business is centred on the provision, replacement, repair and maintenance of utility network infrastructure (water and gas pipes, electric & telecommunication cables, water, electricity and gas meters, mobile phone masts and associated equipment, telephone kiosks, and electric substations).
We have recently conducted a number of SMSTS courses on behalf of their Maidstone Branch, and now look forward to developing this new relationship in the months and years to come.

In the short time we have been looking after Online Flooring we have successfully helped them achieve accreditation in SMAS, CHAS and Safe Contractor winning them several contracts off the back of their new accreditation.

Founded in 1972 and with their headquarters in historic York, the group comprises a North, South and Central Division with a number of regional offices throughout the UK. They build homes right the way from Scotland through to the North and Midlands, across East Anglia and Wales, down to the South and South West of England. We have carried out various training including SMSTS and SSSTS ConstructionSkills Training along with the organisation of CSCS tests.

PT Electrical are a Sittingbourne based Electrical contracting company, providing first and second fix electrical installations for many medium and major building companies. Much of their work is in the new build sector. We have worked with PT Electrical to develop their H&S Systems and paperwork. We have also delivered many training courses to support their needs.

We have delivered training to Sir Robert McAlpine for over 2 years having trained over 200 of their Site Managers and Foremen on the CITB ConstructionSkills Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) course, we continue to offer bespoke courses to suit their needs, eg office safety, fire safety management training and fire warden training which we compliment with live fire training.
Staggered Ltd
Staggered Trading Limited, although a relatively young company has a wealth of experience in the Retail, Construction and Manufacturing industries.
They offer a complete turnkey solution, from design, metal and wood manufactured products, installation, maintenance services and project management. We also have a 13500 sq ft warehousing and logistics facility. We provide monthly training sessions and regular office and warehouse inspections as well as competent advice on construction health and safety.
SW Yorke & Sons
S.W.Yorke and Sons Fencing has over 50 years of experience in the fencing industry. Over the years they have carried out numerous domestic jobs, they are also pleased to have secured some large commercial contracts such as a number of local councils, schools, housing developments sites, industrial building sites, and M.O.D. contracts. They are also expert installers for Jackson’s Fine fencing commercial and domestic.
They carry out a multitude of different types of fencing, ranging from standard garden fences through to School railings, high security Palisade fences and hoarding. They manufacture a lot of their own fencing, gates, etc to a very high standard. They also have the facility to manufacture bespoke gates and fencing in either timber or steel to individual design and requirements.

We assist in covering between 16 & 20 Health and Safety site inspections per month ensuring that they remain proactive. We have also trained a number of their staff on the ConstructionSkills courses.
