The NEBOSH course was such a great overview of health and safety covering law, regulations and regulations of so many topics that are factors of health and safety.

Completing the day release course enabled me to continue my day to day role and not take 2 block weeks away from work. Each session we recapped the training.

The course was comprehensive and delivered in a human way with lots of class/candidate participation. Great communication from Lighthouse and good facilities

I feel the course was well run. There was lots of information that was delivered in a way that was not only easy to understand but also easy to take in and navigate.

The course content was extremely helpful ie mock exams. This helped me feel more comfortable with the understanding of what is expected in the exam and how to resource the relevant information. I feel my tutor was excellent. Very informative, helpful and engaging – passionate in his delivery.

What an excellent course. The course was well planned and delivered. Great use of models, test for knowledge and understanding before the models were introduced which enabled skills already gained to be used, then building on those skills with further group debate and tutor support.

Role play was a very effective tool to use and gain greater understanding of the event, the individual(s) circumstances to identify and implement the ALGEE model (One of many), then decide on the support that could be given, including access to external resources for further support and assistance.

The importance of how we see the word using the frame of reference model put a great perspective on who I am recognising my strengths and weaknesses and the root cause and drivers in my life. The importance of self-care, a great way to reflect on what we do to manage ourselves in times of need and the activities that promote self-care or undermine it. I thoroughly enjoyed the course ad gained more knowledge, understanding, and skills, thank you for the opportunity for further personal development to help support those around me in times of need.

I recently completed the SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) course and can honestly say it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The course was extremely well-structured, covering all the key areas of health and safety management in a clear and practical way.

The instructor Joe was highly knowledgeable and engaging, using real-world examples that made the content easy to understand and apply on-site. Rather than just focusing on theory, the course encouraged discussion and problem-solving, which really helped reinforce the learning.
