CIEH Level 2 Award in Risk Assessment

Course Description

This new qualification is intended to help improve the workplaces culture for occupational health and safety by enabling learners to gain an understanding of the basic principles of risk assessment.

Who Should Attend

This course will assist anyone within any working surroundings to understand and gain knowledge and conception of Risk Assessment.

Course Content

The CIEH Level 2 Award in Risk Assessment course will enable candidates to gain knowledge on the following: a safe working environment, the legal requirements for risk assessment, the principles of risk assessment which include the following, risk assessment review, the hazards, the risks and control measures, the five steps of risk assessment, the hierarchy of control, and record keeping.

Assessment & Award

The course assessment is by multiple choice examination papers, with successful candidates receiving the CIEH Level 2 Award in Risk Assessment.

Cost

Charges are dependent on the number of candidates (minimum of 6), and travel distance, but are based around £95 + VAT per person.

Venue

This course could be run at our Training Centre in Rainham, Kent but is typically run at client locations throughout the UK.
