We aim to offer a personal but professional approach, for all your Health & Safety, Management and Environmental needs. We are a forward-thinking company that prides itself on offering frank no-nonsense advice always delivered in a professional, cost-effective and timely manner.

Some of you may be familiar with us under our previous company name (SME Training & Consultants Ltd) and indeed you may now be reading this as a result of entering the old SME web address. Rest assured, the name change is nothing more than a rebranding exercise. For those of you that didn’t previously know us, welcome, and we hope you find our site not only informative but thought-provoking, and we hope to hear from you soon.

So why rebrand?

We felt that our name change to Lighthouse Safety Training was long overdue (we felt the need to warn of hidden dangers because ignorance of the law is no excuse and we thought a lighthouse best signified what we do – looking out for the safety of you and those around you).

Additionally as a marketing tool we are able to do more with this fresh and invigorating name, it also does what it says on the tin, in other words we are a Health & Safety Training and Consultancy, with a bright future, and with you being enlightened we trust we can work together for the benefit of your future business.

Our speciality is in Construction Safety but our expertise is by no means restricted to this area and we have the expertise to cover manufacturing, retail and the office environments too.

In Autumn 2010 we expect to gain accreditation to deliver National & International CPC along with ADR training, and NEBOSH General & NEBOSH Construction Certificate course.
